Santorum Campaign Opens State Headquarters (WISCONSIN)
Menominee Falls Patch, (Wisconsin) ^ | 26 March 2012 | Rory Linnane

As Rick Santorum prepared to address supporters in Milwaukee last weekend, his Wisconsin campaign team was setting up camp at their new state headquarters in Brookfield.

“This area of the state is an important area for volunteers in the Republican nomination,” said Benjamin Hack, deputy director for Santorum’s Wisconsin campaign. In the back of an office building at 405 N. Calhoun Dr. adorned with several Santorum yard signs, the campaign’s headquarters is spacious and so far sparse, with boxes, telephones and chairs waiting on the floor. The back area is “off limits,” Hack said, but the front area has three open rooms that Hack hopes will soon be bustling with volunteer energy.

Hack said he hopes the office helps bring out “closet supporters” of Santorum.

“This is a grassroots operation. It’s about people sharing with one another why they like Rick Santorum,” Hack said.

Hack said they have already had a strong positive response, with people coming in asking how to get involved. He said there always will be at least one person on staff during the operating hours, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., facilitating phone calls and handing out yard signs. Santorum's Wisconsin campaign also announces events on its Facebook page.

Hack said he thinks Santorum's message will play well in Wisconsin because of his emphasis on manufacturing.

“His 'Made in America' message should resonate well in Wisconsin," Hack said. "Manufacturing is an important part of the Wisconsin economy, and in recent years we’ve seen a decline in manufacturing jobs, especially high paying ones.”

In a poll released Friday by Rasmussen Reports, 46 percent of Wisconsinites likely to vote in the Republican primary favored Mitt Romney, while 33 percent favored Santorum. Related Topics: 2012 election, GOP Primary, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and Wisconsin presidential primary

Hmmmm...... Polls are not looking good for Rick right now, but a week is an eternity in politics. Maybe his “encounter” with the NYT Reporter will excite some people, who think it’s time someone other than Newt took it to the media, to get behind his campaign.

I'm sanguine about Rick's chances in all the remaining primaries.
Mitt Romney tries to soften up each state with millions of dollars worth of ugly,nasty,mean-spirited,mendacious and just plain evil negative ads against Rick Santorum—Then Rick actually goes to the state to campaign and the people get to know him...

...then he wins.

Mitt's millions have taken out all the big shots and little Ricky is the last conservative standing—it's like the ‘69 Mets.

Facing the Government-Media complex in the face, and saying "B.S." directly like that to them without flinching, believe me, in a lot of Wisconsin towns and hamlets, VFWs, neighborhood corner sports bars, average workin' class folks getting screwed by Emperor Obama and the US Media, etc, believe me I think it will resonate. I thought it was great, a truly pivotal moment of the primary race, and can become real red meat, should actually be made into a commercial if I were in charge. I know Herman Cain thinks out of the box and would turn it into a funny positive if it happened to him. I think Rick is unconventional enough (his recent, brillian Obamaville internet ad proves it).

Mitt Romney is waaaaay too upper crust, prim and slick and pretty and phony and staged and wax-like for that kind of basic demonstration of gutsy, working-class humanity, passion, and righteous indignation--where the rubber meets the road with a lot of Wisconsinites. You gotta' "relate" man, to the folks.

We already know Willard had every intent of having the boxing gloves OFF during the primary to smack the CRAP out of conservatives, but it will be kid gloves toward Obongo and the Media, just like John McCain's failed template in 2008. Honestly, I do not believe the GOP grassroots, if alerted to this, really want the McCain/Romney route and prefer Rick's little recent dust up with the Obama-toadies masquerading as "journolists."

Where did you get this stuff ? There’s very ;ittle about his appearances in FR’s WI and I’ve been checking Santorum’s 4/3 Wisconsin website and the only thing that was posted was a campaign stop on the 25th in Fond du Lac. That was this morning about (27th) 5am.

I heard that he was to be in Beaver Dam (today 27th) either on Bader’s show or on Vicky McKenna but didn’t catch the times.. Where I’m at is a void, Adams county, we just got re-mapped into the 3rd CD from the 6th and wanted see if there was any activity in it and dashed off a 2nd email from that site and got no response.

This what I worked up for members of the AC-GOP

A Hydra Is In The Mourning After Pill
OBMACARE is a 1.76 Trillion $ Hydra
A 9 headed Serpent whose heads must be decapitated all at once with a Firebrand otherwise they grow back and devour everything in sight
by L.J .Keslin / http://www.theusmat.com

While the ex governor of the only state with mandatory state run health insurance (which is in trouble ) was busy buying up state primary elections Of the three GOP candidates remaining opposing him only one man, Sen Rick Santorum, had the courage to take on a what they call a third rail issue...Eugenics...one of the heads on that 9 headed snake called obamacare..

With that Santorum had his character asassinated for it... He has been pummeled from both sides Called , a women hater ,, a religious nut, and ..a one trick pony. Santorum spends an hour discussing oil and the economy then 10 seconds comenting about pornography but guess what MSM and Santorum detractors will talk about... certainly not ,what’s really in the 1.76 trillion dolllar wonder called Obamacare ,,...!; Population control,.Death panels., Private presidential armys.. and all that goes with it. Including cost, 1.76 trillion and rising ..

To pay off a 16 trillion dollar national debt at $16.00 a second would take 31,668 years*. .. Not including interest. There is no way to “fix” Obamacare..Part of that debt is a 1.7 trillion dollar secret Xmas eve gift that was delivered in March 09 that must be returned by someone determined to do so not just exchanged .I’ts doubtfull the man in the Etch a Sketch suit will do it. Mitt has yet to explain how his “Romneycare “is working”

A trillion seconds of time =31668 years
Two groups late in the last century led in Eugenic development. The Nazis and the Communists. Few know or remember how the Nazis began. First citing “health risk” “nicht rauchen” baning cigarette smoking, Then terminating Down Syndrome children, and then on to mentally defective children and adults,. then on to besides murdering opponents, races. All done to make the German Reich healthy and last a thousand years.

So you go to the MSM (Main Stream Media) the so called “gate keepers” for information about these things and you find closed gates .. The sorcerers in the media magically reduce a 2000 page Hydra , a Greek legendary nine headed venomous serpent that must be slain by a firebrand ,and morph it into the mourning after pill and a “womans health care issue.”

The “gatekeepers” never tell you that Obamacare bill creators and the Amish are exempt from being in Obamacare. The drafters are on record actually calling it population control and demanding Catholic bishops support it.* Their statements are out there .But not mentioned by the so called gate-keepers but by the AM the alternate media, meaning radio talk shows like Limbaugh’s and websites like Britebart’s Government . Places Obama wants to shut down and will once re-elected *Joel Pollak Britebart Government .

When Santorum talks about freedom he warns women surrender their rights when they buy into this monstrosity . That is what’s in Obamacare which is deceptively titled “The Affordable Health Care Act” .Yet Obamacom tzars who hail from that foreign land, the deep swamp of Acadamica are all preaching the utopian wonders of Eugenics. Why it’s the final solution (remember him ?) population control. Which is part of the Obamacare package.

Fortunately Santorum has not shyed away from this issue miss characterized as only a social issued. It is both a social and financial issue $ 1.75 trillion is in no way a minor expenditure. One of this hydra heads Population control affects US from the cradle to the grave. .but Santorum can not speakout and act against this despicable movement ? Particularly when that is being shoved on religious groups by the Demo-Coms . Especially when they are ignoring constitutional rights...

My web page has the much longer version I intend to condence this into a fast read handout that can be printed up...If the members read their damm email.

When you have so much B/S from MSM TV and from the likes of Sykes and Wagner who are pushing Romeny and his care the only way to get around that are leaflet blitzes.

Yes.. someone said on this tread that a week is a eternity in politics.
Pray and perhaps Romney's people will make another slip up today or tomorrow.

I’m pretty sure my guy (Gingrich) isn’t going to make much more headway, so I wish Santorum all the best and I hope he takes Wisconsin!

a) If there is a low turnout or bad weather;

b) if Gingrich drops out before then to unify the conservative, anti-Romney vote;

c) if Santorum can really rally the conservative base, churches (evangelical, or fundamentalist, ironically, more so than Catholic), to go in droves and in busses, etc., yes, I believe he could make up the roughly 8 point gap that separates him from the Bishop as we speak. In four or five days, going at about 2 % a day, it could happen, and if undecideds also break for Rick if lets say Romney puts his foot in it somehow, that would be helpful as well. Chances are that Romney would win Wisconsin, but what a pyrrhic victory it shall be indeed, if he only wins by 1 or 2% to a candidate who should long ago have dropped out. This only shows the tenacity of Rick, and the idiocy of Romney as a GOP standard bearer for 2012.
