Newt Gingrich, the first candidate to campaign in Delaware, came here Monday night pushing his $2.50-per-gallon-of-gas energy plan and jabbing President Obama about comments caught on an open microphone with outgoing Russian President Dmitri Medvedev.
Gingrich said that Obama’s suggestion that he would have more flexibility to negotiate on nuclear arms after winning the 2012 election, was “destructive of American interests.”
“This is a president who is amazingly destructive of American interests, something by the way of which we were reminded of today, when he didn’t know there was an open microphone,” he said to meeting of local Republican groups.
“He promises the Russian president as soon as he gets the election out of the way, he’ll sell out the American missile defense system. They need to give him a little ‘space’ so he can be flexible right after the election. I think this is a really alarming behavior and it makes me want to know how many other countries has he promised things after the election, if they’ll, quote, ‘give him a little space.’ What does that tell us about the Iranians or North Koreans.”
Gingrich continued to push the idea of $2.50-a-gallon gasoline....
“If you build [the pipeline] for the Canadians, you also then can carry North Dakota oil. Today they have to ship it in a railroad owned by Warren Buffett. So you may wonder what some of the pressure is for not completing the pipeline,” he said to applause.
“If gasoline continues to go up, [Obama] can’t buy enough ads to convince the American people that it is cheap,” he said.

Read an NYT article “A Farewell To Newt”, wherein the columnist argued that the media- all media- should stop covering him.
“If he refuses to quit, we in the news media must quit him. Starve him of his very sustenance: attention.”
The media should make him quit??? Tells one all he needs to know about our dysfunctional mass media.
But, in the posted article, Newt indicts lap boy Warren Buffet— no other candidate would do that—— and that’s why the media can’t freeze Newt out-— Newt’s always news.

Senator (R Tn) Son-of-a-Mitch McConnell has promised to “Repeal and REPLACE” Obama”care.”

The major problem with THE NINE SUPREMES is that they are chosen for political reasons by the POTUS, and then they vote as an un-accountable democracy, for a Nation that is NOT a Democracy, but a REPUBLIC.
As a result, THE NINE SUPREMES commonly vote 5 to 4 on most issues. Constitutionality is seldom a consideration, and their up-coming ruling on Obama”care” will prove my point.
Now is the time to stand and deliver to address our grievances to the dictates of the Left.
Oppose the dictates of Dictator Baby-Doc Barack!
Our ONLY chance to ABOLISH Obama”care” rests with THE NINE SUPREMES, because Romney will be defeated by Obama.
IMHO, if Romney is anointed as the RNC Nominee, THE main issue in the National Election, Obama”care,” will be taken off the campaign table. Hence, Romney will not only lose, but suffer another crushing, and sadly typical, RINO defeat.
To those who want poster ideas, here are a few ideas for demonstration posters:
Obama”care” was robo-signed by Congress, and is therefore illegal.
Obama”care” was 2700 pages long, and is still being written, but not by Congress: witness the forced contraception coverage recently added by HHS Regulators.
Obama”care” has caused “The Catholic Spring.”
Obama”care” reduces competition, and therefore is illegal by the 1890 Sherman Anti-Trust Law.
Obama”care” is designed to be a US Federal Government monopoly, with no competition.
Obama”care” also is illegal according to the US Constitution, because it violates our freedom of choice.
Will THE NINE SUPREMES notice any of these three violations? I seriously doubt it.
Impeached Bill Clinton proved that the US President is above US Federal Law, so anything that the President wants he gets, regardless of the Federal Laws that he has violated.

I think it makes sense for the other two candidates to first wait for Newt’s response on these critical issues.

Impeachment proceedings should begin immediately following the ruling of THE NINE SUPREMES.
I had no idea GOP establishment anoints the nominee. You mean those 10 million PEOPLE (adult US citizens) who have voted so far in primaries were meaningless and just a farce?

This should be grounds for immediate impeachment. He’s literally telling the Russians he’s going to sell us out as soon as it’s safe. I am actually physically ill here — and I am sure I am not alone.

Yep. That is why the most Liberal RINO always is held up by the GOP-E as the one who is “the most electable.” For reference, just look at the grief the GOP-E gave Reagan when he tried to first become the Nominee.
By the time some of us get to vote, our favorite Primary Candidates have been voted out by liberal strongholds in Iowa, NH, etc.
The system is better this year, as the GOP-E did agree to some proportionality.
So, the GOP-E shake in their boots when a brokered Convention becomes a possibility.
Meanwhile, we taxpayers shake in our boots when an Obamalite Candidate winning 1144 Primary votes before Tampa becomes a possibility.
The longer the Primary runs, the less chance that Romney will win the 1144 votes, and the less time Dictator Baby-Doc Barack will have to send out the Public Labor Goons, the OWS shock troops, and of course, the Liberal Agenda Media.
The purpose of this National Election is to elect a Republican who will ABOLISH all of Obamanation. Romney is not that man, and so far the GOP-E cannot see that - - - - .
If per chance Romney is the nominee, and per chance he defeats 0Bama, and then reneges on his prime feature of his campaign to grant waivers to all 50 states from Obamacare on day 1 in office, Romney should be bitch slapped, spanked and ridiculed abd driven out of town. Since he has said again and again that will happen on 1st day in office, it won’t take long to expose his fake promises.
It sounds like, walks like and looks like treason to me.
This is why we need Newt to stay in. He is the only one that has the depth to challenge Obama on a wide variety of issues.
Yeah, but in the case where the 'enemy' seems to hold more 'American' traditional values than the Commies in Washington DC (particularly in the White Hut) ... It makes it a tougher call than it should be..
