Sorry, never worked retail per se,, kids dress like thugs these days, its the thing.. something definitely keyed this ‘thug’ .. haven’t heard gang mentioned.. which makes it hurt even more for the families.
I am used to seeing a lot of ‘suspicious’ folk around, I live just north of east san jose. They got a pretty good mix of everything there and closeby is heavily flavored too so to speak. Cops usually shoot first and then clean up afterwards.
I hear you on always having your ‘ears’ up,, , I caution my wife on being aware of her surroundings ,, she likes the SF and Chinatown scene for shopping and fun.
Keep in mind, Norm, that Trayvon was unknown to Zimmerman and acting suspiciously or on drugs and dressed like a thug while walking through Zimmerman’s neighborhood that had several burglaries recently.
If I was Zimmerman I would have probably followed Trayvon, too.
East San Jose, eh? I NEVER go down there after dark; too big of a chance to get shot, knifed or car jacked being that I’m an old, slow, white guy with a Southern accent!! I also avoid Oakland, East Palo Alto and ALL of LA...
