while we can speak to Zimmerman’s state of mind, it’s not so easy to do so with Martin now . He had a rough 2012 so far, now it’s a complete loss. If he felt like he was being tailed.. or ‘oppressed’ again.. wellll..

I can understand in high crime areas how some are ready to do what they have to to defend themselves, but.. is this a case of just let the system do its job and maybe he should have just kept driving.. I again go back to precipitating events and better judgment being lacking.. on both parties.

Some people want to hide or look the other way in the presence of possible danger, which is a normal human trait (don't want anyone peeing in their pants). Mr Zimmerman apparently took the problem of crime in his neighborhood very seriously and had a proactive approach in his surveillance. Maybe Mr Martin felt dissed that someone had the nerve to watch him so he decided to serve up a beating as a lesson to Mr Zimmerman, but that's pure speculation. Based on the facts I have read, there is no reason (yet) to charge Mr Zimmerman with anything.
