I learned early on that “if it's Free, it's not for me”.
Growing up in Philly I saw that any “free” event would invite the moocher class to take over with the inevitable outcomes.
And we have our winner!
My best friend happily won a rabbit for her kid...and then she found out that they pooped and peeeed. I had Thumper for a few years. The damn thing box trained just like a cat. It also knew its name and we'd let it out to "go play".
Yeh...It played down the street where folks had a rabbit in a cage...and the food on the outside of the cage.
Thumper was a thief!!
