Great read, true. So many injustices in this primary. The media has beat stories over people's heads who can win/who cannot. I read on Palin’s face book that she was so concerned of how the media has totally made Newt into not being capable of winning, that she made phone calls for Newt in Louisiana to help with the confusion.

The voter turnout in itself is a dangerous wake up call. They can gloat but it was such a low voter interest vote. He got the church vote and the I can't stand Romney vote because people are buying into the Newt cannot win lie.

Newt said yesterday whatever happens, he is not getting out so he can protest at convention. He cannot get out-Rick will not win women voters-Romney will not win conservative voters-it is a blessing that Newt is the one who is giving a chance for a person to be considered.

It is really that simple, isn't it? But santorum supporters can't see that. Even people, pundits who support santorum, say Newt is doing him a favor. why they can't see that, I don't know.

what went on in La, it was a camp meeting, not a primary. some of his appearances were so over the top with religious jargon and telling his followers, God is on our side, the usual fare... Newt can't compete with that, he wouldn't want to... they want the man who's been married once, they love bella, they love his family, I mean, there is nothing rational in their support of him in terms of policy or experience or what America needs to save it from the brink... and it isn't a preacher in the oval office. you can see just from FR, those people are very hard to break through to..

He definitely has some element of the fanatics and extremes believing that he is the One who can do all these things on social issues and sent by God to do so. I can sense by some of his support here, (their own words), there is some deep anger (tolerance thrown out of the picture) I don’t want to be any part of that. (Not all of the people, by no means). These voters tonight, really have shown that they are not very mature to pick a person with leadership though we know the media has done their role. Santorum is the luckiest little politician if there ever was. We have the worse 2 candidates in the top tier/thanks to the GOP-e giving us Romney as the anointed. If one thing, I hope they learn from this huge huge mistake of the Dole-McCain plan (no more of it) They better be getting their butts in gear to understand; we need a new person-if they really wanted change, they would be behind Newt but they are not in that universe. It shows they don’t want the control (it would be too much work for them and of fighting the media) They don’t want to win, I don’t think. The ruling party should be ashamed of putting a man who supports socialized health care and supported gay marriage to represent the republican party. They thought the fear of Obama would give Mitt the edge now. ( Hey, RNC-that’s our problem-tell that to your intellectuals and The Hill and the secret power players)
