U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton approved $1.3 billion in annual military aid to Egypt, waiving congressionally mandated democratic reform conditions. State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said Clinton waived the conditions based on U.S. national security interests and a goal of maintaining a strategic partnership with Egypt, Voice of America reported Friday.

Anyone from Congress objecting to this?

Not even one person?

Why would they? They are the ones who profit from these "aid" programs. Nothing goes to Egypt. All aid programs exist so that our politicians can make money. Egypt won't see any money. According to the agreement, they have to use the money for procuring goods and services from the cronies of politicians here. The money is not even transferred to them.

Their politicians get around 50 million dollars as bribes for facilitating this transaction.
