Zimmerman may have been a little too zealous about his Neighborhood Watch duties. But....why did Trayvon (apparently) attack Zimmerman? Most people run from trouble, they don’t wade into it.

By using these words, Obama is definitely playing the race card and fanning the flames. Very irresponsible. And the name Zimmerman sounds vaguely Jewish. A two-fer.

Oh, you mean like the Mattapan Massacre where a jury just let the gunman walk, and was hung on convicting the driver? One of the victims was a two year old boy.

Zimmerman was a wanna be cop, but couldn't join. Probably because he was arrested 2005 on charges of resisting arrest and battery on a law enforcement officer. If Zimmerman was attacked by Trayvon, it was probably because Zimmerman was being an ass. Zimmerman wants to be a tough guy, picks on Trayvon, and then runs away when he realizes that he is about to get his ass kicked.

I don't think Zimmerman should go to jail, because we will never know the facts, and we must err on the side of innocence. But I also think Zimmerman created the situation by using poor judgment and instigation. He caused the unnecessary death of a 17-year old.
