Zimmerman...figured he could follow this Martin and somehow prevent him from leaving till the cops got there. The problem with that is he made the judgment that Martin was guilty without having any probable cause to do so.

The problem with this theory is that Zimmerman had time to detain Trayvon Martin, if that was his intent, while he was observing him. Instead, he maintained his observational distance and was on the phone with Police.

It’s news to me that a neighborhood watch person has any authority to ‘detain’ anybody. I’m all for letting this case go to court, assuming there is an indictment, and withold NAACP conviction. WHY this bozo thought it was proper to do anything other than calling in the cops for cop work I can’t fathom. It’s called neighborhood WATCH, not neighborhood SHOOT.
