House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Wednesday evening that the 2010 healthcare law, which prompted complaints from conservatives that Democrats far exceeded their constitutional authority, actually helps people meet the goal outlined in the Declaration of Independence, which promotes mankind's rights to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
Speaking on the House floor, Pelosi called on her colleagues to remember "what our founders put forth in our founding documents, which is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And that is exactly what the Affordable Care Act helps to guarantee."

It kills the unborn, that is not protecting life, it forces everyone into a government plan that is not liberty and it takes citizen’s money from them by force and that is the opposite of the founders meaning of pursuit of happiness. SO once again Orwellian speak from the wicked witch of the west.

Substitute “guarantees” with “sacrafices” and you get to the truth.
It guarantees them alright. It guarantees that they will become a privilege to be given or taken away by government bureaucrats.
Actually it’s more like slavery. No self-respecting doctor will work under those conditions. Not to mention the taxpayers who do all the work to pay for those who contribute nothing. It is slavery of a portion of the population.

Why would anyone make such outrageous stmts in that venue KNOWING they were patently false? Its VERY easy to verify and think thru. The only idea that comes to mind is she thinks no one else knows they’re false, she doesn;t know any better or her grip on reality is tenuous. Our rights were not given to us by Nancy Pelosi nor any government. They were given to us by God. They cannot be granted by man nor taken away by man. Liberals like to twist the Constitution into meaning anything they want it to. They think everything they want for free is a “right”.
And I suppose the right to life doesn’t apply to the unborn in Nancy’s world either. These people do not even make logical sense. Every time I look at that woman I see the Mad Hatter.
