Former Sen. John Edwards allegedly used the services of a call girl employed by accused Soccer Mom Madam Anna Gristina while he was running for President, according to a report.

The woman told investigators that Edwards paid her for sex during a 2007 visit to New York to raise money for his failed White House bid, DNAinfo reported Thursday.

Edwards’ lawyers did not comment, the website said.

This really is an important point. This sleazy scumbag was a serious candidate for president and came close to being vice president in 2004. Journalists didn't vet him. To the contrary, they covered up and belittled any controversy that surrounded him until he was no longer a credible Democratic politician. Today's MSM needs to be destroyed.

National, state, and local newspeople have known about John Edwards’ real character for a long time. They have run interference for him for twenty years, and they still do. These are the same “reporters” that totally failed to vet the African-American candidate for President, that let our VP get by with statements that amount to world-class stupidity, and cheer on an Attorney General that should be serving time. All this makes me furious, but I am most angered by the reaction of the Republican party and supposedly responsible elected officials—nothing. Absolutely nothing.

I guess our Senators and Representatives are thinking ahead to lunch and golf with Harry and Nancy. Wouldn't want to rock the boat, or, God forbid, be unpleasant.

Shortly after he announced his bid for the Presidency way back when, Edwards was featured on the cover of the NC State alumni magazine, along with yards of breathless prose inside about State grad hitting the big-time (or some such tripe).

I dropped my membership in the association upon receipt of that issue.

I don’t know. I am not allowed to talk politics with her. Anything that is said, she’ll just say “good grief” and “I am done talking about this”.

(Funny thing is her son is going into the military now. She’s having a very hard time with that, but of course, it is only so he can be a pilot, she says.)

I remember when my son was at Ramadi with USMC in Iraq, and there was Al Quaeda all over the place. And she was trying to convince me that the whole war was due to “Bush lied”.
