The reason the government is doing this is so the farmers will have to hire more Mexicans. This will force more farmers to sell and all the farm land will be owned by a few select corporations AND controlled by the government.

They can't. They'll be happy with the damage they do until they're finally busted by the SCOTUS, ten to fifteen years from now. By then, most of the farmers will be toast. To get the rest, they'll tweak the rules just a bit to accomplish the same thing and force the farmers to sue again to stop them. Bureaucrats have plenty of your money with which to wait out their hosts.

We are already there. The government controls EVERYTHING you do now. The only thing left is for the government to make everyone DO the same thing as everyone else...Communism/Marxism. That will come after the next election cycle this year.

Susan B. Anthony’s (and her friends’) problem with “child labor” was that the young folks were instrumental in keeping family wealth and increasing family prosperity in those days—even after divorce (father custody). ...kept local bureaucrats from using a bored family member to take everything away from the family.

But now local politicians, appointees and employees can steal a farm or ranch on nothing more than false accusations from busybodies in developments (e.g., animal protection laws including agriculture, HOA queens wanting more taxes and services, etc.). Have fun. Enjoy the slide.

Who knew that I was once a criminal? I pulled tarps from a catching frame when I was 11 and 12 in the orchards of northern California. When I was 15, I started driving tractor and/or forklift every summer until I graduated from high school.

IMO, this will be shot down in Federal court. After all, why have your kids clean their rooms when you could hire a maid?
