This is the meaning of the world "ill-gotten".

Romney was up to merciless scorched earth, anti-Reaganesque nasty and offensive anti-Conservative candidate campaigning and non-stop attack ads to knock out and alienate GOP conservative sub base after conservative sub base, further depressing the votes and here we sit like lambs to the slaughter in November. Are we to award a passing grade to a student who brought in a cheat sheet? Well, technically, he did pass it, although through less than admirable methods. I have never seen a more low-class, moral-less politician I believe than Mitt Romney (maybe Nixon or Clinton woudl rank there, too).

Hey. Mission accomplished.

a) RINO wins the nomination as a shill to take the establishment fall in their little game to be slaughtered by the Lib Dem/Media in the general. Romney would not be one TENTH as tough and nasty and in your face through attack ads and robocalls on Obama as he was on any of these fine conservative candidates. Total John McCain's Second Coming.

b) GOP Conservative base is demoralized due to the incessant RINO machine/GOP-e attacks.

Great work. Right according to plan.

Like I said, now watch all the Romneybots who were either silent or scorched earth here against good conservatives from the get-go like Cain, Bachmann, Santorum, etc., suddenly stick their head up like groundhogs, and play the "oh well, we (sic) conservatives sure put up a good fight, but time to unite behind our leader, Governor Mitt Romney". Not buying that contrived, sneaky, dishonest sack of shit scripted from the get-go, even at a market discount. Seen it in action one too many times.
