I agree to a point. Rush's program content in regards to originality, variety, investigative work, news of anything crucial in the world outside of the U.S. media and primary politics, etc. is slowly but inexorably grinding to stagflation.
His program now is not much more that 3 hours of his precious (stale) "soundbites" and analysis of same. He can take one minor issue and belabor it for 15 minutes, repeating himself in five different ways.
The familiar flashes of brilliance are still present, but becoming more and more infrequent as he bogs down in a lot of minutia.
I've been an almost-daily listener for 21 years, he has been my mentor....but I find that more and more recently I've been doing things other than tuning him in at noon. Why?
Is it because he's become too "safe", too "repetitive", too "predictable"? Too "comfortable" in a format which may need a little shaking up? Would like to hear other opinions.

Definitely agree.
I’ve been a daily listener since 1992. Love Rush and always will, however, I have to say that when I want facts and information I go to Levin and Beck.
Rush still has flashes of brilliance, but yeah, they are not very frequent, he has become -too safe- without a doubt, and I imagine there is a reason for it.
