Newt wants Romney as the nominee. It is that simple.

I can’t imagine Santorum handling Romney by himself, particularly if he wishes to remain principled. Romney wants this nomination with every fibre of his being. He, no doubt, thinks he’s entitled to it and he will endure no decency to attain it! I wouldn’t vote for a guy who savages his fellow Republicans but can’t voice the same disdain for Obama!
