It was unconstitutional when Adams did it and it’s unconstitutional now. It also didn’t matter that it was unconstitutional then as it doesn’t now.

This bill is a lot more dangerous than they are letting on.

"`(2) the term `other person protected by the Secret Service' means any person whom the United States Secret Service is authorized to protect under section 3056 of this title or by Presidential memorandum, when such person has not declined such protection.'."

The next time a TEA party is organized all Obama has to do is sign a memorandum and the party (say Bill Ayers, Van Jones, etc.) and they don't decline the protection you will find yourself in federal prison.

Damn stupid republicans. They probably didn't read far enough into the ten paragraphs to discover this...

Maybe OWS will finally serve some good purpose. Their protesters may be the first ones to start getting arrested and pushing a challenge through the courts.

Perhaps we should no longer simply dismiss the Republican Party as the “Stupid Party.”

This bill is evil, as one of the posters already stated, and the Republicans were virtually UNANIMOUS in their support thereof.
