These “occupy” people have true courage.
Many in Cuba are desperate. The place is decaying and falling apart with no hope.
The Catholic Church hierarchy has been a totally neutered and silent fixture in Cuba, and that’s why you are now seeing people taking things into their own hands directly and ‘occupying’ several churches recently.
The Catholic Church hierarchy has not only been ‘NOT’ leading in the efforts to stand up for the oppressed in Cuba, but has actually allowed itself to be used in serving the Castros’s purpose when it suits the Castros.
These events and desperate actions by a few (as a result of the ‘silence’ from the Church after so many years) will finally force the hierarchy to decide on who’s side they are on.
