WHAAAAT? Rectinal scans? To distinguish one a-hole from another?
Oh, retinal scans.
(Sigh of relief)

It would be oppressive to require an ID to vote, but to allow someone to purchase the medication their doctor prescribed and the person needs, the person will have to jump through hoops

Why in the hell are there so many politicians willing to give up liberty? Are these people stupid? Is this the result of 40 years of public education?

Glenn Beck today asked: “Would you rather be a slave and have stuff or be broke and free?”
I fear that the answer of a majority of people would be the first choice.

Calirado, managing the plantation for the degreed, licensed, certified and approved, bipartisan, environmentalist, animal-worshiping, government-linked bosses, who see all, hear all and know all. No one else is allowed to do business activities. Maybe it’s a good time to consider designing, planning and building in Wyoming instead.

Some people need friends and family to pick up scripts. This is silly..

Their job is to prevent competition against their favored constituents. Only previously established and approved political class participants are worthy to do business.
We do really need the collapse and default process. It's now the only way to reasonably small government.

Why not a mark on the forehead or on the wrist instead? ?extreme sarcasm. I have had it with The War On Drugs. It has become a Tool To Tyranny to control the innocent. It has brought us corruption unseen since the days of Capone. ENOUGH!!! It's no ones business but a persons doctor, the pharmacist, and the patient, as to what medications one LEGALLY with prescription takes.

Emailed Ken Summers and asked him about this...
Got a smart-ass reply...Doesn’t know a thing about it...Says facts can be an elusive thing...
Shilling for the security contractor who will eventually install and monitor/service the equipment?
I should be able to expect more from a “republican”, but anymore have to ask why?

From a Leftard like Boyd, this retinal scan crap is the kind of big bro/nannie state crap I’d expect...
Massey and Summers are nominal “republicans”, and should know better...But both appear to be Romney-bots, so that explains a lot...
I know...Why not a bar code tattoo for everyone...Maybe on our forehead above the eyes...
The pharmacist could just use a free barcode reader app on his smart phone to ID the customer...
But then there wouldn’t be any many-million dollar contracts for the pols’ buddies...

so punish the good citizens because of the druggies....just like a person can't just go buy a little sudafed for a stuffy nose (the good stuff) because the druggies ruined it for everybody....
this will just drive more and more traffic underground...

No, the druggies were ruining only themselves - it's the War On Drugs and the "conservatives" who cheer for it who ruined it for everybody. And ridiculous restrictions on cold medicine are the least of their ruinations.
