PAGO PAGO, American Samoa Mitt Romney won the Republican caucus in American Samoa, picking up all nine delegates.
About 70 Republicans in the U.S. territory located 2,300 miles south of Hawaii met in caucus Tuesday. The six delegates selected at the meeting and three superdelegates to the Republican National Convention all said they would support Romney.
Falemao M. Pili, vice chairman of the local GOP and a delegate, says he believes Romney can fix the U.S. economy that extends to American Samoa. He says Romney can "turn this country around."

(Good thing I am a conservative. Otherwise I would have to support Mittens like Republicans do.)

70 Republicans met at Toa Bar & Grill in Pago Pago to pick 6 of the 9 delegates American Samoa is allocated.
I searched the web for Toa Bar, and this is the only image I dcould find that was relevant...

Well, 9 delegates is 0.79% of the total needed to win. :-)

Deligates won on Tuesday.
Sen. Rick Santorum picked up at least 29 delegates Tuesday after winning the Alabama and Mississippi Republican presidential primaries.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich added at least 24 delegates and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney got at least 31. Texas Rep. Ron Paul was being shut out.
So the Samoa deligates gave Romney the win on Tuesday as far as total deligates go.

Yep, American Samoa, pretty good bet the country wants you to be president if you can take American Samoa. This definitely was the victory Romney needed to remain the front runner.
Right... Ah huh...
I don't think Samoa carries the same kind of political momentum as Alabama or Mississippi.
