Unless you are a card-carrying member of the John Birch Society, then how in the heck do you explain the lifelong voting ratings (rather admirable and superior, conversely very LOW ratings from leftist/Democrat rating groups), from a variety of Conservative Lobbying and Public Interest Groups regarding Senator Santorum? Did they all screw up? Are they out of whack? Or is your center of universe slightly off kilter? Just sayin'.

I think that is the first time I have heard (outside of from a communist or two here or there) that there is "not a dimes worth of difference between Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum". Wow.

Examine their opinions. Romney also gets pretty good ratings as a conservative. I’m not talking about social positions, btw.

Your example of non-critical adoption of liberal talking points concerning a conservative group, ie:the John Birch society, demonstrates exactly why America is stuck with Romney or Santorum.

Does it bother you that the most conservative condidates, at least by your measure of "Conservative Lobbying and Public Interest Groups", are more or less out of the race while more nominal conservatives are embraced? While Santorum would be better than Romney, he is, at best, a big government Republican. Do you really think that America needs a big spending, big government Republican to save us from the big spending, big government Democrat in office? Why? Because he isn't as socialistic?
