When did calling other freepers idiots, stupid, or ignorant become an acceptable part of Free Republic?

I don't know, but you sure have called me enough names, so maybe you could pinpoint the date... Charles.

I think any attempt to pull from Santorum now is ill-fated. Before tonight, he was already climbing in the polls and Romney was diving. He will probably pass Romney again shortly. Kansas, Alabama, and Mississippi in succession are are to top - for the moment. Your idea might have worked if Newt could have climbed out of the doldrums, but he has not been able to do so. His message seems to be attracting too small a base this time.

Get over the infidelity crap, Lexinom. Iran is about to get nukes and Newt Gingrich has real solutions to make our country energy independent and you pose an idiot question. I mean RLY. I received 27 robo-calls from Team Romney alone during the past 6 days pointing out all of Gingrich’s real and imaginary faults for the past 30 years and another 13 from Santorum’s camp.

Have a wonderful night and God bless our Conservative candidates.

Romney SUFFERED TWO MAJOR DEFEATS! DANCE!

Yes, Newt came in second, will collect delegates, announced he’s going all the way to Tampa and helped to crash Romney.

A silver lining in every cloud. Until we are dead, there is tomorrow.

Santorum practices some kind of self-righteous, judgmental I'm-better-than-you-because-I-never-cheated-on-my-wife faith... the only problem with Sanctimonium's faith, that's not how Jesus Christ views Newt.

Standing ovation!!! Thank you for saying that! and the people haven't seen anything of the Santorum they will see if he wins this.

Thank God all known about Newt has been fully vetted...no surprises....but just wait til the Obama machine cuts loose on Santorum! He's simply another McCain with a pretty face.

By all means. Repost whatever you'd like. And I'll rip your garbage apart once again. I kept my word not to post to you since Iyou complained I made you cry but I never promised not to reply to your garbage.

So please, I'd especially like folks to see the nonsense about Newt being the better man because he had committed adultery and repented while Santorum the sinner was the lesser man because he had been faithful.

“But the time for rending one’s garments and gnashing of teeth will be past soon and we need to unite.

It’s important.”

Not sure where you’re going with that statement, but if you mean unite around Romney, I have to tell ya I have a hard time with that notion. I’ve tried over and over to rationalize or come up with SOME reason to get passionate about Romney vs Obama, but I just can’t. He has nothing to offer the conservative movement.

Like you, the only candidate I really wanted was Perry, and it was sad to see the way he was taken out (some of which he brought upon himself unfortunately). Then I moved over to Newt, who is closest politically to Perry, but has all that added baggage. Right now, I don’t much care whether it’s Newt, Rick, or a brokered convention. I just want Romney stopped. I just can’t fathom him being the conservative standard bearer.

OH DEAR, MORE ADVICE!

Please spare my dear friend, the young lady, Marcella, from your advice, dear BamaBlue.

We’re all entitled to cast our own votes for the candidate of our choice and hers is Newt Gingrich. She is voting for the ADULT with the real solutions and the ADULT Commander-in-Chief.

Y’all have a lovely night and God bless.

Well, I think Obama will have a few surprises because the truth of them won't matter, when Newt is the nominee. Newt has called this the second half, after La, and I have just about given up on reasoning with, or having discussions with Santorum supporters, who are so steeped in their holier than thou rhetoric, that they can't be reasoned with.

Santorum does very poorly with catholics because they see him as a deeply judgmental man, spiritually speaking. It was the evangelicals who wanted nothing to do with Newt for years and years because of his sin, and, because of Callista, he found his way back to the faith, this time Catholicism.

I don't think santorum supporters can support Newt because of his sins, it's as simple as that, and a sad commentary on the true christian faith. Heathens, I am finding out, like him a lot.

Yep, and I agree with you.

Same crowd that supported him.

Odd the old folks are for Romney, but they’re out of touch.

“Your heart is young, as well as your spirit, yet you possess the wisdom of your years. You are one of very few women that could get away with lying about your age, because you look at least 20 years younger.”

I’ve told you before, I’m running for Miss America when I’m 90 - and I’ll win.

Right. Newt has made it clear that he is staying in all the way to the convention.

Money will be very tight for him.

Without winning tonight, his donations will be way down.

Hawaii is a caucus and the islands have a lot of Mormons who can be bussed to vote..

American Samoa has a lot of Mormons too..

bishop and high priest Willie Mitty will probably get both and act like he won the nomination as usual...

I’m not falling in line this time. Sorry.

Me neither and we shouldn't....I am grateful that I have the choice of who I want to vote for and that does not mean voting against another candidate....but for the candidate of my choice, and according to my conscious and who I think best would serve our country...and that's based on who has the best tools on their belt to accomplish what needs being done...and the history that shows they can do it.
