Santorum Says Fox News Is ‘Shilling for Romney Everyday’
The Blaze ^ | 3-13-12 | Tiffani Gabbay

During an appearance on Brian Kilmeade’s radio program Tuesday, GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum accused the Fox network of “shilling” for his rival, Mitt Romney.

“The man has had a ten-to-one money advantage,” Santorum said of Romney on the show.

“He’s had all the organizational advantage. He has Fox News shilling for him every day — no offense, Brian, but I see it — and yet, he can‘t seal the deal because he just doesn’t have the goods to be able to motivate the Republican base and win this election.”

Kilmeade, however, defended his network, qualifying that Romney’s campaign responds to interview requests promptly and that he had tried to book Santorum on his show for no less than three and a half months, to no avail.

“We’ve been requesting you [Santorum] on this show for about three and a half months, minimum, and we’ve gotten nothing but, ‘yeah, we’ll see,’” Kilmeade fired back.

what’s funny, the Newt supporters don’t even have the integrity to admit Santorum is right on even this, instead they default to calling him whiny for bringing out the truth.

If this is whiny, then what the hell do you call Newt’s response to Romney’s hit job on him down in FL?

I agree with Rick. It has been pretty obvious.

Its the truth. Just the other day I heard Doocy make some kind of comment about the other candidates wasting time.

This morning one of their reporters asked the 6 year old home schooled spelling bee champ if she “gets out” to play with other kids.

FOX is sliding fast.

Actually fox likes to shill for Romney by proxy. Rove, Morris, and all their other “political” analysts are beyond blatent with their Romney support. But Fox can try and say it’s not them.

Dick Morris was shameful last night, telling people we’d lose the general if we didn’t help Romney close the deal tonight. Horrible bias. I’m glad someone finally said it, overdue.

Boo Hoo. Rick whining against the obvious is always such a winner.

Would that Newt had enjoyed such trivial adversity, but he got quite more than a little biased coverage, he got the machete.

It makes us realize who is capable of the coming combat and who is needing to run find their big boy pants.

i liked you better when we were both on the Cain Train GBC. I can respect your decision to support Newt since I know you are a rational thinker.

But I caution you to take a look at the people that are piling onto bashing Rick. Many are the same people that helped bring down the Cain Train when the MSM went into their hit job on him.

Just ask Katiedidit1. One of her primary critieria for dismissing Cain was the fact that Gloria voted for Obama in 2008. She also took joy in mocking 9-9-9 and made Cain out to be an idiot.

The problem with the media is that they’re tied to the big cities. Even guys like Rush Limbaugh don’t really quite “get” what flyover country is.

When the Tea party express made their first trip across the country they had a FOX news correspondent traveling with them when they stopped in Jackson Michigan. After he did his on camera bit, I had a chance to talk to him for a few minutes. He said he enjoyed the break from the city and was happy to get out into the rural areas. I reminded him that we were in a city of 30,000 people and that most of the people had come to town for the event. I told him that I came from a town of 150 people and he looked at me like I was an alien.

Yeah, when Newt pushes back, he's a fighter, a junkyard dog, blah, blah, blah, swoon.

I've heard people say Chris Wallace is a flake. I wonder if he has any response to that. Bunch of hacks.

Rick got rejected seemingly and after all from getting anywhere near a Romney ticket. Romney announced that little piece of trivia on FAUX (Cavuto), so Rick’s whining about FOX.

I said upthread—wish Newt’s adversity had been so miniscule as a little biased coverage, but the diffence is telling when you look at what bothers whom. The measure of the adversity Newt has overcome and the style and substance with which he handles it are stunning by miles to Rick in a snit.

Newt actually does combat with adversity and that is why he is still standing.

God be with Newt.

This NEWT supporter thinks Rick was right even though he’s wrong on other things. Anyone with 2 brain cells can see FNC is hawking for Mitt.

Unless Kilmead was lyin, soulds like Santorum or his handlers are not on the ball when it comes to PR ops.

If you want top call what Rick did “fighting back” then you would call anything that.

Newt turns back their bias onto them and forces them to answer his questions. Rick just whines.

Now imagine him as a nominee having to go against the full force of the MSM.

People from big cities do not seem realize what a distorted view of the world and reality that they have. It is like everything to them is group-think and they get bitten when they have an original thought. In the city, so many services are provided for them and everything is convenient and at their fingertips. I truly think rural life involves more problem-solving and individualism, which is raw material that made this country in the first place. I have long thought that if people from inner city poverty were transplanted into more rural areas where self-sufficiency was necessary, we would all be better off.
