On the floor of the Senate, he offered to bring a quick vote on the JOBS Act, a Republican-led jobs bill that passed the House with overwhelming bipartisan support, in return for Republicans dropping their opposition to the nominees. If Republicans actually had a pair, they could make political hay out of this. Picture the commercials "Why is Harry Reid threatening to hold the Jobs Bill hostage? Don't you want American's to find jobs Senator?"
