But the Lights! The Hookers! The Casino’s!!
Oh no! The Rio is my “home” when in Vegas.
The gang crime unit is involved. I guess what happens in Vegas, doesn’t stay in Vegas.
Where did you live? Fallon? Yerington? Tahoe? Or are you one of those people who thinks Nevada is only Las Vegas?
Somebody didn’t like a bad beat
But there's not a state of Moe Green in the whole city!
Here's a tip for folks planning on going to Vegas, stay on the Strip, you will be much safer than staying at shady hotels off the strip. Oh and avoid "downtown Vegas" unless you want to pretend you are a cast member of "The Godfather".
Actually the Rio has 2 buffets, the regular one and the Seafood buffet. Neither is particularly good but they aren't bad if you can get them comped. Since the Rio is owned by Caesars the food is similar to a lot of Vegas buffets, only the atmosphere is different. Out of all of their buffets we prefer the one at Paris just because it looks like a little village.
Lost Wages is not Nevada.
It’s more like East East LA with slot machines and Pinky Reid.
Reno is also moving that way, but the rest of the state is great.
Don’t get your shorts all knotted up, this will wind up being just a bunch of gang bangers celebrating. Don’t worry, we have plenty more of them to go around.
You have a point, Las Vegas 10 years. It’s a desert and too many people support Harry Reid.
No problem for my shorts, I don’t live in Vegas.
Vegas is kind of the Chicago of Nevada.
Rio a dump? Wow -
After going to Las Vegas a few times yearly, we haven’t been in years, but the Rio seemed to be great a long time ago - when fairly new, anyway.
We liked it. The whole atmosphere.
Truth be told, our favorite buffet was at The Golden Nugget. Yeah, downtown. That place was elegant - the food was first rate - hope it still is. Yes, more expensive, but - -
Once there, you needn’t go anywhere else downtown.
Golden Nugget now owned by Landrys Restaurants (Seafood). Just not the same as the old ‘Nugget. Then again, neither is Binions Horseshoe.
Yup. It’s light years difference between Vegas and the other much more conservative 99.5% of Nevada!
