Mandeville, LA Its the latest victories in Maryland and Oregon, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk (R) Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
Second Amendment Foundations President Alan Gottlieb drops in on Sunday with information on the latest victory. This one comes from Maryland, where a federal court ruled that the state conceal carry law where one had to prove why they needed a permit was unconstitutional. Read the press release from the Second Amendment Foundation: http://saf.org/viewpr-new.asp?id=395.
Also, the Oregon Firearms Federation Executive Director, Kevin Starrett, stops in to discuss the latest legislative action out of Oregon: one bill focused on guns on school campuses, and one bill would keep private the identities of conceal carry permit holders. Pow!!!
Mod, the Huns have screwed up the title to this thread.
Could you please correct that to “Gun Talk Radio”?
Thanks
Howdy!
Hun’s are always up to no good.
I’m a Hun with a Gun!
(well, I do have a little German blood)

Hiya Alfa!
Hi My,
I’m thinking of getting into reloading my own shells. Do you know anything about reloading and the best equipt to buy?
Now that’s funny!!!
I am not a reloader but I have heard good hings about the Dillon progressive press.
How 'bout that?

I like that charging handle.
What happened to the KIDO feed? WTF?
Hun seriously has to wonder.
Thanks Mod.
Those Dillons are expensive. You’d have to do a lot of reloading to make it worthwhile.
The RCBS equipment is real nice for the average reloader.
One thing I do know us that the progressive presses save time, but... they can lead to error since they tend to make you complacent.
Rcbs has been my first choice but I’m curious about the Hornady reloader.
There are so many out there!
Yes, a lot of guys swear by RCBS or Lee.
The KIDO stream keeps cutting out?
Must be the solar flares...
Obowmoa is apologizing to Afghanis a gain?
At least its just hosing up in the commercial breaks.
Sloar flares, o noze. I have to get into my faraday cage now.
Why does all the bad stuff come from outer space.

Gun talk comes on in my area from 1:00 to 4:00 on KEES out of Shreveport. I listened a little today and he said quite a few companies will be coming out with a new AR-15 in .308 caliber.
Drive Bye Pings.
Clint Jr home for spring break tonight, going to the range this week with the
G27/30 to try out the 9mm,357SIG,40cal,10mm,45acp conversion barrels
again. Range report next week.
I would like a .308 AR10
Enjoy!
What kind of 9mm ammo do you like to shoot (for practice) and use for self-defense?
AR-10 next on the list.
I’m in Monkey County Merryland. There’s only one range. Gilbert’s. You have
to buy your ammo from them and they only have 115grFMJ.
I got some Hornady 147gr XTP, per mylife’s recommendation, for self defense
and sneaked a magazine full at the range and they flew just fine at 25 feet,
just like the 115FMJ.
A Glock will eat just about anything. Just wondered if you could notice a whole lot of difference between the different bullet weights and the +P rounds.
I am looking for a brand recommendation for 5.56 ammo for an Armalite 180.
I just shoot whatever I can get cheap
Wolf seems to work fine.
Tula did not.
For practice use whatever your gun will handle. An occasional and unexpected malfunction is very, very helpful when practicing.
Some of the best stuff I ever shot was Guatemalan surplus made on Olin machines
The Hornady 147gr XTP is not a +P round, it’s as light as a 115gr and flies just the same at short range. Have not tested it at longer range but I’m sure it will drop rapidly beyond 50 feet because the muzzle velocity is much slower than the 115 gr. It’s very easy on the hand however.
That was the first self defense load I tried, it’s got some smack to it like 357SIG.
Good to hear that the recoil is low.
I would like to see some competition with the AR10s to drop the prices
Really? I just bought a couple boxes for my M1A............ am I skrewed?
