I'll keep digging...
The other obvious problem with USAF bombers on a carrier is lack of folding wings, and inability to take them below..
Sounds like they just wanted to see if it could be done..and then forgot about it..

Thanks for the headzup, Ken. I’ll checkem out.
Because the it was launched full afterburner, a night Vigi launch was a thing of beauty and a joy to behold!
I really don’t know why it was more spectacular than a night launch of the F-4, which also launched in full burner, but it was.
One other nifty “thing” the Vigi could do was called “dump burn.” The Vigi fuel dump mast was between the engines, so the pilot could dump fuel and then light it with the afterburners. THAT was a spectacular sight, especially at night!

Im amazed that some sea coast city doesnt want it as a tourist attraction? The reactors would present an issue. Even after they're pulled out, somebody will be worried about residual radiation.

I don't like to use the word "never"......but plenty of the left...will never stop crowing, swooning, thrilling, loving on/about Obama. H.S. kids will be reading glowing accounts of this donkey...for years into the future. To mock Obama is to mock the Left itself. They will never tolerate it as long as they have power.

Then, it is up to us to take them out of power, and keep them out of power.
If we do not; if we fail, I fear for our Republic.
