Nebraska Senate: Bruning (R) 55%, Kerrey (D) 33%
Rasmussen Reports ^

Posted on 03/06/2012 10:25:47 AM PST by sunmars

Democrats hoped to give themselves a shot at holding onto a U.S. Senate seat in Nebraska by talking retired Senator Bob Kerrey into running, but the first Rasmussen Reports survey of the race finds Kerrey trailing all three of his leading Republican opponents. A new telephone survey of Likely Nebraska Voters finds state Attorney General Jon Bruning earning 55% support to Kerrey's 33%. Four percent (4%) like another candidate in the race, and seven percent (7%) remain undecided.

Ha! Kerrey burned his conservative democrat camoflage when he took that position as head of the New School after leaving the Senate. The New School is an incubator of commie activists. The stink of it ought to be all over Kerrey.

Rumors say that big money donors coaxed him to change his mind. Here is hoping that Nebraskans have a long memory as to why he was let out to pasture years ago. Bruning is a strong candidate and will be a great representative. Kerrey will be sent packing just like the Benator would have should he have ran again.

I will just die laughing if Kerrey gets creamed by that wide a margin if not more come Nov. Seems Nebraska people are gonna be smart this year and not buy the carpetbagger.

He jumped back in because of that huge democrat ego and promises by Reid of big payoffs and personal benefits.

He was a crap governor, a crap senator, and he left the state to be a New Yorker for over a decade.

The advertising for and against him has already begun and they are trying once again to push the idea that he should be elected because he was awarded the MOH. Enough already! The idea of McCain being a POW (one of many) or any candidate having “served” is meaningless. It is an action at a point in time that does not grant one permanent admiration.

Let him run for a senate seat in NY, like that other carpetbagger HRC did and stay the hell out of my state.

I still love that lady in the Italian restaurant who, after Nelson voted for Obamacare and dropped in for dinner with friends, yelled “Get him the hell out of here!”

Still don't understand why he got back in.

Party bigwhigs no doubt prevailed upon him with the "loyal soldier" crap. Try to keep it from being too much of a blowout for us, etc.
