This is a very important point because Obamacare allows anyone under 26 to stay on their parent's plan which every student at Georgetown 26 and under are allowed to do but no one in the Lame Stream Media or the "committee" asked her why she wasn't when they thought she was 24.
She is a grown up adult, even in the eyes of Obamacare, so she could have very easily bought her own insurance but she didn't want to because the Government, through her grants, are paying for the student insurance.

She's 30. She graduated from Cornell in 2003 and went to work before she went to Georgetown and immediately started agitating against the healthcare coverage on birth control.
But she never mentioned her sex life or her own contraceptive use or cost during her artfully crafted and ridiculous presentation.
Ridiculous? Yes. She told the story of six women.
She claimed one of them was raped and didn't go to the doctor:
"even to be examined or tested for sexually transmitted infections because she thought insurance wasnt going to cover something like that, something that was related to a womans reproductive health."
I don't care what Georgetown's healthcare policy was. The problem of the woman who was raped is . . . she is an idiot, not that she doesn't have contraceptive coverage. Healthcare plans don't cover or fix idiocy.

Actually, there is NOTHING controversial about contraception except the lefts' penchant for changing the National dialog and trying to paint conservatives as "women haters".
The "controversy" is an invented "crisis" with it's origin in the obama administrations quest to immortalize obamacare.
The birth control pill, and other devices for birth control have been around for a long time, and the millions of other women who wanted to prevent pregnancies have somehow managed to partake of them, even teenagers.
If you don't want to pay for your own contraception, and you don't want to have a baby, then...don't have sex. It's a very easy solution.
These lefty gals are telling us that they have the right to have protected sex and that it's our job to pay for it.
What they really mean, is abortion. The obama bunch wants to avoid the "a" word with elections approaching as their focus groups are telling them that the subject should be avoided at all costs...so, they've done what liberals always do, they changed the name (like barry soetor to barack obama).
Liberals are very big on such infantile that calling a rose something other than "rose" somehow makes it a different flower.
Well, I have one thing to say to these meddlers of womens' bodies....FLUKE YOU!

Okay, at its core, this is either very bad “journalism”, or it was deliberate.

That pretty much defines the feminist left... "I won't even attempt to protect myself if it isn't free"

the Fems are going to be even more angry that she’s been blown in for being over 30 than for calling her a slut
Barack Obama can find the time to call a gender activist and wish her well in her political ambitions, but he can't take a moment to contact the family of Brian Terry, the US Border Agent who was shot in the back by Mexican drug runners with arms supplied by Eric Holder's Fast and Furious program.

The assertions she makes too about “friends” whose health was impacted, such as losing an ovary, by “lack” of contraception are just insane, as clearly there was a quite different major issue than pregnancy in such cases. Notice how robotically smug she appears. A number of people who have seen her have concluded she is a lesbian... so why does she need contraception?

Liberals are the kind of people that if you rescued them from a burning building they’d complain that you should have knocked first. Knock and they’ll complain you should have rushed right in.

“Nancy Pelosi ridiculed a hearing organized by Republicans for featuring a panel of all male witnesses on the president’s contraception policy.”
ANOTHER LIBERAL LIE!!!! The Democrats were allow to submit names to be on the panel. The DEMOCRATS submitted (for a voice on their side) a few MALE names, the one that was picked and was to be on the panel, NEVER SHOWED UP! That was when the LEFT tried to pull a fast one and they tried to get Fluke on. Totally AGAINST the RULES. When they were told that she could not be on, the left pulled a media event and stormed right out to the cameras.
If having a women’s voice was so important why did they not submit a female on their list to be on the panel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were made to believe originally that she was a poor 24 year old struggling college student that needed a “hand up, not a hand out” but now we learn she's a 30 year old career student only enrolled to cause a stir at a Catholic School.
Pelosi should be ashamed of herself for using the church to advance her Liberal causes.

This needs to be repeated many times before the November elections.... loudly!

The republicans are too slow and timid to bring in their own WOMAN for “testimony”
I’d love to see a chick up there sobbing....”why do the democrats hate CHILDREN???” “This is baby-hate, STRAIGHT UP!”

Fortunately she is past her prime childbearing years as well as being past her prime for marriage. It appears her problem is solving itself thanks to the free market.

The point was to show that CNN reported her as being a 24 year old student, not a 30 year old. Either the dems lied to CNN about their “witness’s” age or they invented her age out of thin air. Either is possible, but I tend to lean towards the former explanation.

I doubt CNN was bamboozled. They’re among the liars running this show.

I’ve seen four ages for her - 23, 24, 30, and 33. Can’t anyone get it right?
