CHICAGO (CBS) – This spring’s G-8 summit has been moved from Chicago to Camp David, though the NATO summit scheduled for the same weekend is staying in Chicago.

Pretty smart move. It’s about time someone thought about it. Cities everywhere are breathing a sigh of relief.

How the decision to move the G-8 summit to Camp David would affect the planned protests was not clear.Oh, it's quite clear. Some years ago, Andy Rooney tried to penetrate Camp David, and the military was all over him and his car before he got two feet up the road to the compound.

This thing virtually shut down our local economy in the downtown area when Pittsburgh hosted a few years ago. His buddy Rahm is on such shaky financial footing already he probably asked Barry to do him a favor and get this thing out of there.
