Rush is cowardly sniveling now on the air because he is bleeding advertisers. This is pathetic. I wrote to several advertisers stating I will never use their services again.
Stop it Rush! You’re being humiliated by the Left. Ask your listeners to step up to the plate. Everyone knows you were speaking tongue-in-cheek about Ms. Fluke. We now know that she was no 23-year old innocent student but a 30-year old seasoned leftist activist.

Rush violated his own sense of ethics with what he said, and now he is doing the MANLY thing and apologizing.

That's not what my ears are hearing. He's acknowledging the fact that he was out of bounds in calling Fluke a 'slut', but he's taking it to the left as usual.
There is sniveling and then there is apologizing. He is calling them liars. He was accurate at the time in calling her a _______, but he is also correct in saying he should not have stooped down to being a commie-leftist like Maher, David Letterman. or even Obama, for that matter.
Calling her a name wasn’t the thing to do. It’s one of those speaking in the moment without thinking things we all do. IMO there’s no cowardice involved.
The sequence; words, loss of advertisers, sniveling apology speaks far louder than a claimed temporary lapse into leftist technique.
There will be no pledging of life, fortune and sacred honor from this "entertainer."

How many apologies has Rush offered to those of us who went out on a limb and defended his right to free speech and the correctness of what he said? We contacted his advertisers and dropped their products or told them we wouldn't consider buying their products. We backed him up 100%. And now he grovels before the Sandra Flukes of the world and meekly admits he was wrong. And not a single word of apology to those who now feel foolish for defending him!!
I am convinced that Rush is all about Rush, not about beating the Left. I costs a lot of $$$ to support his Palm Beach compound and live his lavish lifestyle. He can't afford to lose many more advertisers. After all, Carbonite and ProFlowers are hardly Microsoft and ExxonMobil.
I've had it with him. His mincing dance today in order to save his income while keeping his audience was galling and craven.
He apologized FOR SINKING TO THEIR LEVEL. I was upset about the apology when I learned of it Sat., but now I see how he turned that around.
