Well....that was the end result. But I think the reason Beck left Fox was due to leftist pressure on Fox via the sponsors. Same leftie caca, different leftie day, IOW.

I admire the desire to stay on the air and keep listeners informed, but where do people draw the line and say...
"Go ahead and drop me. You're the one that is going to lose customers in the end, not me. My listeners will still be here and other companies will buy your ad time."

Beck refused to stop covering issues he wanted to talk about so he left rather than remain silent and be held captive by the hands of his sponsors.
