Apparently you forgot the part of FR of “NO personal attacks”. You owe ‘fishtank’ an apology! Well?

That's always been left up to the referees, aka, mods.........

I’m so flipping mad at the way the media is handling this that I can’t help but support Rush right now. Obama is asking Catholic and other religious institutions to provide services that violate their faith and consciences, and I’m supposed to be angry at Rush for just stating the truth? No way. He’s the only voice of reason out there that has a large audience.

“Yes, Fishtank is a much kinder person than I am. I have very little patience for viciousness for the sake of viciousness.”

I’m feeling that vicious is the rational response to the Kenyan lizard’s communist coup.

Why don’t you go have a latte if you are not up to being free.

Thanks.

Sandra Fluke can be opposed without calling her names.

Don’t get me wrong, she CAN be opposed, but not in an ugly way.

I see the mods deleted your post #4 and your post #29 on your asinine personal attack on ‘fishtank’. Want to try for more here? I’m sure the mods will be obliged to ban you. You will not be the first to be banned!

Now I suggest you leave fishtank alone from your personal attacks on them, and offer them a sincere apology.

The woman at the well wasn’t demanding that Jesus or anyone hand her contraceptives for free cause she wants to go on boinking with no responsibility. He said to her, “Go, and sin no more.”, not “Here’s a free condom, knock yourself out.”.

It's actually much worse than that. Imagine if the woman at the well went before the Sanhedrin and demanded that her sinful lifestyle be subsidized out of the Temple treasury.

That's what we're dealing with here.

When Our Lord returns, I suspect He won't view people like Sandra Fluke as "victims". Call me crazy...

I pray she repents and denounces her former self.

“There’s no joke in $1000 for birth control pills - apparently the college plan stinks and that’s how much they cost..”

Actually, the college clinic hands them out for free, and Target sells them for $9/month.

Fluke isn’t just a slut. She’s a liar - with an agenda of making religious groups pay for her sex.

I just don’t follow Fishtank’s logic..... We should debate with the woman who has sex out of wedlock? We should tell her to believe in Jesus? I would suggest she is more like the woman with many husbands (lots of exes)...”Go and sin no more...”)

WADR, that’s insulting to the (repentant) Samaritan woman to even draw any comparison between her and (the obviously-unrepentant) Sandra Fluke. Never mind believing the demonization of the left, who took Rush’s words way out of context and would have sought any way to demonize him anyhow.

Truly one of the greatest responses ever posted on an FR thread. You nailed it.

Personally, I want this whole episode to get as loud and ugly as possible. It delineates between the wretched Obamunist masses and the good, decent Americans who still believe in morals, standards, and values.

Nobody is asking this woman not to be a slut. We’re simply saying that we should not be forced to pay for her profligacy. And the last time I checked, sex was not a medical procedure (which makes one wonder exactly how this woman performs).

The issue isn’t really about her sexual practices. But it is about selling herself out to support the latest cause of the democrat party. Would it be ok to label her a democrat-whore, rather than a sexual-whore?

Bingo! I posted a somewhat similar thought upthread, but you've hit it a different way. She has sold out to help the leftist cause. This is pure political theater that really has little to do with her actual sexual practices but everything to do with her political practices. The focus on her sex life is misdirection by Team Obama.

Let’s say Ms. Fluke is celibate, pure as the driven snow, and on birth control pills “just in case”.

She would still be way out of line demanding that a Jesuit institution change it’s core beliefs and likewise demanding that everybody else foot the bill.

Rush could have made his point without resorting to that language, and I really wish he had. Now the argument is all about the label, and not about the substance of the discussion.

For a woman who requires as much sex on a daily basis as she does, I think, the description more aptly applied to her is nymphomania.

There are ‘electronic devices’ available these days for her to buy to help her with her ‘problem’.

The corded variety or she will go back in front of Congress whining she can’t afford the price of batteries.
