Philip Ellender, president of government affairs for Koch Industries, charges in a letter to Obama campaign manager Jim Messina that President Obama and his campaign are fostering “an effort to chill free speech and squelch dissent.”
The Obama campaign today put out a fundraising email by Messina blaming the Koch brothers for higher gas prices. Charles and David Koch, the majority owners of the refining and manufacturing giant Koch Industries, have become a favorite target for the Obama administration since before the 2010 midterm elections.
In the fundraising email, Obama campaign manager Jim Messina wrote:
“In just about 24 hours, Mitt Romney is headed to a hotel ballroom to give a speech sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, a front group founded and funded by the Koch brothers.
“Those are the same Koch brothers whose business model is to make millions by jacking up prices at the pump, and who have bankrolled Tea Party extremism and committed $200 million to try to destroy President Obama before Election Day.”

I don’t know about ”chill free speech and squelch dissent”, but it sure does sound like another anti-capitalist Obama b.s. rant.
High gas prices = Obama’s Fault.
They make millions by jacking up prices? Do these people even know what a market based economy is? Have they ever heard of Adam Smith’s Invisible Hand?

Stonewalled offshore drilling
Slowrolled drilling in Alaska
Killed the Keystone Pipeline
Implemented maze of convulted requirements for building new refineries
Helped Iran with building a nuclear bomb

When Obumo created 17,000 jobs - at the IRS - I figured as much. First off, how do you immediately create and staff that many positions with tax law professionals keenly motivated to plug loopholes and catch real tax cheats? Silly me. That wasn’t the objective. However, if you wish to pay off ACORN retreads and displaced union thugs, what better institution? Minimal training required/work from home/great benefits package and all.
The boss noticed that yous hasn’t donated any moola to his campaign.
Be a real shame if something happened to make your taxes go up.
