Santorum has neither the brains nor the foresight, nor the slightest inclination to even venture an allignment with Newt, as you suggest, who for his part has been generous with Rick during his numerous Bachman immitations, and quite willing for weeks, if you have read the signals to any degree to allign on approaches to Romney.
