We should level 5 mosques for every soldier murdered. SOB’s are really pi$$ing me off now. Bring everyone home. Let them kill each other and God will sort them out. Double global patrols and if anything comes our way, tell the subs to level whatever it was that got froggy.

Afghanistan is not the same as VN...a country like Afghanistan, with Islamist Sharia (like Iran) is genocidal and suicidal in their insane, ideological mission.
The Vietcong were viscious , intense commies...but they were not suicidal in their ideology...so it made sense to try a counter-insurgency move. I just don’t understand how you can put that strategy into effect. But maybe Petreus counted on “moderate” Afghans who didn’t want the Taliban.
