“privilege of being an American”?
Implied in his message is “Pay our blackmail or we’ll kick you out.” Being American is *not* a privilege. It was earned by our forefathers who fought and died fighting people of Geithner’s sensibilities.
“Geithner spent most of his childhood in other countries, including present-day Zimbabwe, Zambia, India, and Thailand where he completed high school at the International School Bangkok.”
I think Geithner learned the wrong lessons in his formative years.
Zimbabwe was then Rhodesia, known for its racism.
Zambia was a leftist dictatorship.
India of the time was a socialist disaster.
The only country even vaguely friendly to the US was Thailand, which is the furthest thing from a western democracy.
And this is a man allowed significant control of our economy? Everything he knows about us he learned from a book or in some ivory tower school. He is more not-American than he is American.
But after Mugabe took over it became a racist free society where brotherhood, fairness and love for one's fellow man prevail.
It is now a multi-racial paradise on earth where white and black live in harmony and seldom is heard a discouraging word and the skies are not cloudy all day
