He is just saying 5 years but he is counting on the “el presidente for life” thing...
I’ve always figured that his role models were Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and Robert Mugabe, and that he would like to be President for Life. He needs a much larger army of brownshirts to pull it off—100 times the size of the Occupy Movement, SEIU, and ACORN combined...and even then it would be unlikely to succeed unless he could neutralize the armed forces and the millions of gun-owning Americans. Anyway there are presumably lots of Democrats wanting a chance to run for President in 2016 who wouldn’t take kindly to 30 more years of Obama.
Tough to say how long the latter term might be. Such things are in God's hands.
