In an interview with Univision Radio, President Obama said that he has 'five years' left in his presidency to figure out issues like comprehensive immigration reform. Striking a confident note about his reelection prospects, Obama assured a largely Hispanic audience that he has not given up on getting an immigration bill done one that would provide a pathway to citizenship.
"My presidency is not over," Obama told Univision's Eddie Piolin Sotelo "Ive got another five years coming up. Were going to get this done."
Obama also said that Hispanic voters would ultimately face an easy choice in deciding between him and the Republican nominee in November emphasizing his support for comprehensive immigration reform and a pathway to citizenship.

Yep, someone always has to trot out the old stand-by.
My own father used that line on me a few times.
My come back was, okay, then if I didn’t vote for Gore, it was actually a vote for bush then wasn’t it.
Sullen look. ;^)
That’s my take too.
Not sure I have ever called noobie on anyone but yeah 3 days ago is newbie.
If you really think gays have taken over the military at all levels, please take a good rest out of the sun.
” It’s true that Obama is worse, but note that GWB came a lot closer to pushing amnesty through than Obama, so far. In some cases, a GOP POTUS is more dangerous than a Dem, because the Senate GOP will oppose a Dem POTUS’s amnesty. Which candidate can we trust? “
The irony of all ironies......
"Everyone who has five more years to solve the immigration problem take one step forward."
"Not so fast, Obama."
Piolín.
Apparently Eddie's nickname "Piolín" is "Tweety Bird" in Spanish.
The irony is that Republicans completely out of power as 2009 and 2010 oppose big government + liberal initiatives in almost unity. Look how many Obama bills the NE RINOs voted against those two years. Alternatively Republicans in power, especially meaning a Republican POTUS push big government + liberal stuff and get Republicans in congress to go along with it(examples 2004 to 2008), way more than if Democrats were in power. Much of this is to be able to tell voters that they accomplished something, In the case of GWB in 2007 he was trying to build a legacy (well he got one.).
The way Peter Schiff put it in 2009 was :”Republicans out of power act like Republicans, but when in power they act like Democrats”
This is something the ‘Republicans in power are ALWAYS better than Democrats in power’ crowd won't talk about.
When Boner & McConnell did absolutely NOTHING to get rid of Obamacare(which is patently unconstitutional, and the vast majority don’t want it)that told me all I needed to know about these useless cowards in the D.C.GOP.
The Republican Party as a whole is not a limited government party. While there are components of it that are dedicated to limited government the establishment wing/leadership is dedicated to slowing the advance of socialism (not reversing it). They exist to maintain the illusion that there’s a choice. The sooner that everyone realizes this the better.
Exactly!
They were waiting for low hanging fruit like the birth control/contraceptive mandates to pick off the Obama-care branches. Look how well that targeted strategy has worked.
Repealing Obama-care was a major campaign promise in 2010.
Oh great. Can we look forward to a Mexican spring?
Repealing Obama-care was a major campaign promise in 2010.”
It was T H E PROMISE. There you are!
so youre sayin the lied ???
just damn, and here i thought that once they got annointed and hit the beltway that all kinds of magical things would happen, unopposed by the rat bastards runnin the show...

LOL, how about building that manned Moon-base without any taxpayer money? Just big talk?
Newt says it's just those stablishment guys who refuse to consider his BIG, BOLD ideas.
DA-DA-DA. They laughed at Reagan too.
“Newt says it’s just those stablishment guys who refuse to consider his BIG, BOLD ideas.”
How about a small IDEA first....REPEAL OBAMACARE!!!!
Too many freebees like birth control to voters in it to repeal it now. And Obama promises us that only you and your *rich* friends have to pay for it, that most voters will get it for free. He says you don't *need* that money.
now once gg has total control as potus, then we'll see how its done, by decree and a magic wand...
