I am LDS and do not hold it against him or his family that he left the LDS church.

What a strange statement Jeff. It does say much about lds, however.

Not strange at all. The context seemed to be that some might hold it against Rubio and his family for having attended the LDS church. I simply made the point that I certainly do not hold it against him that he left.

...and what on earth does that simple statement say about LDS in generl, svcw? That we do not hold it against people for making a free will choice?

You may stretch it out to be some kind of conspiratal statement about LDS folks in general if you want...but it is a rediculous stretch.

My advise would be to give it a rest. You're seeing shadows behind every corner in the broad daylight.

i think rubio being ex-mormon is a big plus

he wasnt gullible enough to swallow their dead dunkin petty god makin religion

he was smart enough to slip thru their brainwashing and leave the cult, brave enough child to do it no matter what they said, and consistent enough in his decisions to stay gone

now compare that to that flip floppin waffle iron mitt romney
