Christie is rock solid, except when he is not. He’s not a conservative in the sense we consider it, although he has conservative views on a lot of key issues. He is a Republican through and through, but not a strong conservative. Much like Giuliani, he is one of our best champions on some issues, and clearly out of step on others. I love Christie, a just don’t love Christie for the White House.
He also vetoed the gay marriage bill. Yes he has rino tendencies on some things but I admire that he’s his own person and doesn’t care about the media or the polls. He does what he thinks is right for the people.
