I seem to recall Georgia went down this road before. Newt even wrote some books on it. It ended poorly, IIRC. Something to do with Sherman. At best this is poor timing for it. They can always reconsider if Obama is re-elected.

It’s high time that States recognize their rights when in conflict with the Federal Government. The Federal Government should NOT have the right to bribe States with do this or lose monies, nor should they continue to have to fight over 10th amendment issues.

We are a Republic - we just don’t act like it!

When Georgia — and the South — went down “this road” before, most of the productive population and industry was in the North.

The North is now moribund thanks to the domination of the statists up there. The manufacturing and food production is now mostly located in the South and Midwest.

THOSE are the facts that matter if God forbid we end up going down that road again. Not the names of the states...
