Hit and run can be anything from denting a fender without reporting it and leaving the scene to hitting someone one and causing bodily injury or death. So you are saying, assuming she was even guilty of the charge, that even if she only dented someone's car she deserved to be relegated to a life of being a veggie? Said life, of course, promises to be very short as they will probably pull the plug soon. Many more hit and run perps have killed innocent people while fleeing the scene of their first crime than will ever die from a taze. It’s standard practice now to flee from any little circumstance and endanger the population at large. High speed chases should be punishable by long sentences or even death
