When lost, not only go back to the starting point, but also consult a map from time-to-time. The founders Our “maps” are the Declaration and the Constitution. I have to laugh every time someone refers to the Constitution as a “living document.” It means exactly what it says. Your statement that about the left “asserting that our Constitution impedes growth and progress” reminds me that it’s not their function. Green energy has been a debacle.

Doubtful. Still, we must try. Mark Steyn’s latest column cited a CBO report that our economy will cease to function in fifteen years. I give it less than ten.

The rat dream of blowing up every remaining institution in order to replace it with their social justice Utopia is just about here.

I've taken to contacting my Congress-clowns several days a week. The people here are still sovereign and we can change things if we lay enough heat on Congress. I just don't think there are enough of us.

The problem is the people. A republic can absorb only so many Maxine Waters, Bawney Fwanks, Keith Ellisons, Steny Hoyers . . . before it leaves a mark on our freedoms.
