The Catholic bishops are completely full of crap on this issue. They -- along with the leaders of many of the so-called "religiously affiliated institutions," as Ms. Schlafly calls them (what the heck does that mean, anyway) are 100% behind ObamaCare, as long as they can weasel their way out of certain provisions under the guise of some "religious exemption."
The basic flaw in ObamaCare has nothing to do with "religious liberty" at all -- and has everything to do with liberty, period. The Catholic bishops should be standing up for the rights of Catholic employers (or anyone else, for that matter) who determine that any provisions of ObamaCare -- including any kind of insurance mandate that has no place in U.S. law -- are an outrageous violation of their God-given rights. But they can't do that because this would put these Catholic employers at odds with most of the Catholic leadership that has fully embraced a Marxist view of government-run health care for decades.
Then you were tull of crap before, and you are full of crap now.
Obama care is properly opposed for ALL of the things wrong with it, not just some of them.
The left must be forced to try to pick up their turd and carry it from every angle.
