A lot of tanking has occurred in this primary race so far. Perry announced and soared only to crash; then along came Cain to the top and then a crash; then Newt rose, crashed rose and crashed a second time and hasn't recovered; now Santorum has risen to the top. It remains to be seen if he'll stay there or do a crash and burn like the rest.
The following chart graphically shows the rise and fall of each over time. It's the second chart on the page.
It remains to be seen who can rise and stay at the top.

To be honest- it tells me a lot of the people are foolish to run to a candidate to support which has not even been vetted in hopes in stopping Romney. It is not a safe plan. Newt is still on the ballot. The media has deliberately skewed his numbers. I honestly don't think Ricky can clash with Obama nor Mittens so, until the end, I am supporting Newt.( After Ricky voted to give illegals government assistance, I said no way I could vote for him/he's part of the problem) Good luck with the stop plan, I think ti will fail with Mitt and Rick. The lefty blogs are having a blast laughing at us for getting rid of Newt & saving the 2 worse of the field)My feelings/my convictions.
