Weighing in on the rest of the field, Mustaine called Newt Gingrich an “angry little man” and said Ron Paul will “make total sense for a while, and then he'll say something so way out that it negates everything else.”
As for Mitt Romney, the rocker said, “I've got to tell you, I was floored the other day to see that Mitt Romney's five boys have a $100 million trust fund. Where does a guy make that much money? So there's some questions there.”
Still, Mustaine would pick any of the GOP candidates over President Barack Obama.
"I'm just hoping that whatever is in the White House next year is a Republican,” he said. “I can't bear to watch what's happened to our great country. Everybody's got their head in the sand. Everybody in the industry is like, 'Oh, Obama's doing such a great job. ...' I don't think so. Not from what I see.”

While I don’t see eye to eye with him on Gingrich, it is nice to see someone in the music industry actually using his brain. Good for him.
Between “The God Makers”, “Family of Secrets”, and “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters”,l we have not only a Marxist, Socialist front upon which to fight, but Theocratic Communism to boot! And if you should care to read “the Trillion Dollar Conspiracy”, it will just about put you beyond the bend!
But unless the American people become educated on just what has been going on behind the scenes for better than hundred years, we will have lost forever our freedom, our way of life and, indeed, our very lives!
Being forwarded is being forearmed, if only people will take notice and organize behind our God given Constitution there may be yet a very slim chance that we can save it for our descendants.

I’m a bit troubled that I agree almost completely with a guy in Megadeath.
Actually, if you ever listen to interviews with him, he sounds intelligent and makes a lot of sense. A good example of why we shouldn't judge a book by its cover. And he has been advocating conservative views for a long time.
Surprisingly many heavy metal (or death metal) bands have very educated members, many of which may have a Masters in Musical Theory. I guess they just love that kind of music.
I would expect a group like Megadeth to support Ron Paul more than anyone else as many metalheads are big supporters of anarchy (or are at least very libertarian) and he’s the closest thing to that.
