Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been in discussions with the White House about leaving her job next year to become head of the World Bank, sources familiar with the discussions said on Thursday.
The former first lady and onetime political rival to President Barack Obama quickly became one of the most influential members of his Cabinet after she began her tenure at State in early 2009.
She has said publicly she did not plan to stay on at the State Department for more than four years. Associates say Clinton has expressed interest in having the World Bank job should the bank's current president, Robert Zoellick, leave at the end of his term, in the middle of 2012

She is simply negotiated her next job. Either she gets the World Bank job or she runs declares against Obama. She won’t win but she will cost hard cash.

Wonderful! The Hildebeast is thinking of moving from one job for which she is unqualified and at which has been a remarkable failure to another job for which she is completely unqualified. This is proof positive that feminism and liberalism can overcome the Peter Principle.
Perhaps one day she will be offered something aligned with her temperment and abilities - like being chief administrator for clitorectomies for the Caliphate that she has blundered into helping develop.

I find it suspiscious that Zoellick is resigning, they must have some thuggish way of forcing him not to continue after his term. Also, I read that Larry “the economy is slow due to the snow storm” Summers is Obozo’s choice for The World Bank. Can you say Global tax on us going to Islamists mullahs around the world? Argh, my head hurts!
