Let us cut to the chase, Romney is scum.
Romney is a prick. He can’t beat anybody on the issues so he goes on the attack and outspends them 20-1. No way in hell will he be able to outspend Obama.
Not my choice of words but I understand and concur with the strong emotions it expresses. What gets me about Romney is his phony nice-guy persona, when his proxies are spending millions on negative ads to ruthlessly destroy his opposition. A straight-up guy would at least admit to what he was doing.
I have zero respect for someone like that. And the interesting thing is that the American people seem to intuitively sense the same - which explains the fact that the more people know about the man, the more they dislike him.
He's a target rich environment. It is imperative voters know what they're buying into.
His electability argument is questionable at best. His own history in PA shows he's weak with women. Even in a very good reelection year or him (52% vs 46%), 2000, Santorum only tied his Dem opponent among women voters. In 2006, he lost 61% of women to his opponent.
