Newt is RIGHT! Congress has COEQUAL power to interpret, enforce and defend the Constitution. A simple majority vote, signed by the President, is all it takes to reverse the Supreme Court!

Makes you wonder why we didn't have that vote on Roe-Wade when we had both houses and the Presidency.

Oh now I remember, it was never brought up. Talk is cheap.

Yes they have, but only on important stuff like letting Tom Daschel cut some trees or clear some land that the enviro weenies could have objected to.

Clearly they have never went near the abortion issue, when equally clearly they could have.

Actually I think they passed legislation, not subject to Judicial review some 118 times.
