“Next day Mom was waiting outside the room when teacher reported for duty. Needless to say, Mom won.”
Ah yes... Those were the days... When parents actually had a say in what was happening to their kids at school.
I had a progressive once tell me, flat out, that our kids did not belong to us, and it was the state’s responsibility to raise them.
The mask is off, folks...

Hey, come on!
Tell us the rest!
How long were you in jail for punching them out?
My daughter is grown now with kids of her own.
But when she was in 2nd grade, being a rambunctious child, we were called in to her elementary school for a ‘talk’ with a school counselor about her behavior.
He suggested that our child be put on some ‘medication’ to facilitate her education.
I threatened to throw the bastard out the window.
We never heard from them again.
She graduated HS with honors.........
Please tell me that you immediately shot that person dead.
It may be far fetched, but after hearing a father call into Rush's show today and say that he had to sign an agreement with a preschool regarding the contents of a packed lunch, I see something sinister in this that reminds me of what went on in Hitler's Germany. The government dictates certain terms, that if not followed, could have economic repercussions on a family. Also, you have those who choose not to go along eventually being ridiculed and ostracized by those who obey. Call me crazy, but, with this bunch, who knows....
That’s scary. Our parents tended to give school’s the benefit of the doubt because, for the most part, they did their jobs and did them well. But today, I don’t see how any parent can deal with the crapola coming out of public schools.
